Iran's Deputy Health Minister may resign

Iran's Deputy Health Minister Iraj Harirchi denied reports of 50 deaths from coronavirus in Qom, from where the disease started to spread.

Earlier, Harirchi said the number of coronavirus cases in Iran might be nearly 60 people.

"50 death cases are reported, but if the death toll from this virus is half or a quarter of that figure in Qom, I will resign," he said during a press conference.
