Incidence of COVID delta strain on rise in Georgia

To date, 72 cases of the Indian coronavirus strain (delta) have been identified in Georgia, Georgian Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia said at a briefing, Report informs.

According to Gabunia, there are certain risks of an increase in the delta strain incidence among children.

The deputy minister noted that the epidemiological situation in the country has worsened over the past two weeks.
