Hulusi Akar says all measures taken to ensure security of Turkish soldiers

Turkey's Minister of Defense, Hulusi Akar, has assessed the current situation in Afghanistan.

Report informs, citing Anadolu, that the minister said the security of Turkish soldiers is ensured in Afghanistan.

"All measures are taken to ensure the security of Turkish soldiers in Afghanistan. In no situation can we put their lives at risk. We have started evacuating our citizens from Afghanistan, with part of them already evacuated. We continue evacuating people on board of an air force plane," he said.
