Greek Prime Minister vows to support Türkiye in EU accession process

Greece has decided to intensify relations with Türkiye and support its efforts to join the European Union (EU), said Kyriakos Mitsotakis during a joint press conference with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is visiting Athens, Report informs.
"We will support Türkiye in the process of joining the EU. We have already signed a declaration on good neighborliness," he said.
Türkiye and Greece should work together for a better future, the Greek prime minister said
He also revealed a scheme that would allow Turkish citizens to easily get visas to visit Greek islands in the Eastern Aegean.
