Georgian ruling party losing majority in parliament

Tbilisi. 22 February . REPORT.AZ/ Georgia’s ruling party Georgian Dream is losing majority in the parliament.
Local Bureau of Report News Agency informs that, according to the Georgian Constitution, the majority must consist of 113 deputies.
The ruling Georgian Dream Party currently has 115 members in the legislative body. Deputies Eka Beselia, Levan Gogichaishvili and Beka Natsvlisvili announced that they are abandoning the majority.
MP Gedevan Popkhadze is also expected to leave. He will make a statement on this issue on February 25.
Commenting on the situation of the Georgian Dream party in the parliament, Vice Speaker Tamar Chugosvili said that it would not be a tragedy.
