Baku. 7 January. REPORT.AZ/ Five first medical aid facilities have switched to emergency mode of operation due to wide spread of flu virus in Georgia.

Report's Georgian bureau informs that these hospitals will work from 10:00 to 20:00 beginning today.

From January 8 these medical institutions will switch to the round-the-clock mode of operation.

The Georgian Ministry of Health addressed the population urging to consult a doctor at the first signs of flu. The structure noted that the decline in seasonal flu infection is observed in the country.

8 people have died in Georgia from H1N1, called the 'swine flu'.
