Georgia and the United States plan to conduct 'Decent Partner 2020' military exercises in September this year, said Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Report's local bureau informs.

According to him, other NATO member states will take part in the international exercise.

The minister said that various types of drills showed the high level of training of Georgian servicemen and their compliance with NATO requirements.

"The bilateral and multilateral cooperation with our partners aims to strengthen defense forces and increase compliance with NATO standards," he said.

Garibashvili noted that the current level of preparedness of the Georgian army is very strong.
