Georgia to deepen cooperation in GUAM-Japan format

Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Vakhtang Makharoblishvili has met with Japanese Ambassador to Georgia Akira Imamura, the Georgian Service of Report informs, referring to the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
The parties reviewed the existing relations between the two countries in various fields and noted the importance of further strengthening of cooperation.
The sides also discussed issues of cooperation between GUAM and Japan and noted that the GUAM-Japan format is one of the most successful formats of cooperation.
The Georgian side expressed its readiness to deepen cooperation in this format within its chairmanship in the organization this year.
