Georgia strengthens control over compliance with pandemic rules

Control over compliance with the pandemic requirements in nightclubs and catering facilities in Georgia will become even stricter, according to the decision made at a meeting of the Interstate Coordination Council of Georgia, Report's Georgian bureau informs.
Control over weddings, funerals and similar events will also be strengthened. A facility violating the rules will be fined 10,000 lari, and in case of a repetition violation, it will be closed.
In Georgia, nightclubs are prohibited from operating both in indoor and outdoor spaces. Catering establishments are not allowed to receive customers from 00:00 to 05:00.
