Georgia's COVID death toll nears 5,500

Over the past day, 659 more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Georgia.

The country has reported 713 COVID recoveries and 16 deaths, Report's Georgian Service informs with reference to the Georgian Government.

Georgia has recorded a total of 377,811 cases of coronavirus infection since the pandemic began. To date, 359,939 of them have recovered, while 5,468 have died.

Over the past day, Georgian medical specialists conducted 14,200 COVID tests.
