Georgia's COVID death toll nears 5,300

Over the past day, 1,194 more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Georgia.

The country has reported 678 COVID recoveries and 22 deaths, Report's Georgian Service informs with reference to the Georgian Government.

Georgia has recorded a total of 365,068 cases of coronavirus infection since the pandemic began. To date, 351,144 of them have recovered, while 5,297 have died.

Over the past day, Georgian medical specialists conducted more than 29,709 COVID tests.
