Georgia's coronavirus deaths surpass 5,000

Georgia has confirmed 695 new coronavirus cases and 16 deaths in one day, Report's local bureau informs, citing the designated official website of the Georgian government.

Overall, the country has reported 352,649 infections and 5,012 fatalities since the onset of the pandemic.

Meanwhile, the number of recoveries has reached 337,820 as 797 more people were discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.
