Georgia reports more than 50 cases of Indian COVID-19 variant

So far, Georgia has confirmed 52 cases of delta variant of coronavirus infection, said Georgian Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia, Report informs.
According to her, the investigations are underway into five suspected infections.
She said the incidence rate of the Indian strain in the country ranges from 10% to 20%: "There is a risk of further spreading the Delta strain. Therefore, we must be more careful."
