"Currently, the number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Georgia stands for 233," the local Bureau of Report quotes the medical director of Tbilisi infectious diseases hospital Marina Ezugbaya.

She said that three Georgian citizens infected with COVID-19 in Armenia and Turkey were brought home for treatment.

Notably, 54 people contracted the virus in the neighboring country have recovered, while three have died.

At present, 4,672 people are under quarantine, while 373  receive inpatient treatment.
