Georgia registers 3,950 new cases of coronavirus infection, 40 deaths

Over the past day, 3,950 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Georgia, 40 people have died, Report's Georgian bureau informs, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health of the country.

To date, 861,883 people have been infected with COVID-19 in Georgia, of which 12,298 have died.

Over the past 24 hours, 2,014 people have recovered, bringing the total to 801,864.
