Georgia records over 1,700 COVID cases per day

Over the past day, 1,716 more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Georgia.

The country has reported 1,551 COVID recoveries and 16 deaths, Report's Georgian Service informs with reference to the Georgian Government.

Georgia has recorded a total of 1,637,691 cases of coronavirus infection since the pandemic began. To date, 1,590,380 of them have recovered, while 16,585 have died.

Currently, there are around 30,000 active COVID cases in Georgia.
