Georgia prolongs curfew to curb coronavirus spread

Georgia has left the curfew from 21:00 to 05:00, imposed earlier to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus, in force, Report informs referring to Georgia's State Interagency Coordinating Council (SICC).
At its recent meeting, the council did not decide on additional restrictive measures due to the deterioration of the epidemiological situation. However, the council encouraged the elderly to stay at home.
The Caucasus country will tighten control over the use of medical masks and the observance of social distance. On Saturdays and Sundays, cafes and restaurants will only provide delivery services.
The curfew has been in force in Georgia since November 2020.
