Georgia posts increase in prices of alcoholic drinks and tobacco

Tbilisi. 4 March. REPORT.AZ/ Inflation in Georgia made up 0.3% in February, Report informs National Statistics Office of Georgia.
The annual inflation was 2.3%.
Prices of food products and soft drinks rose by 0.1%, alcoholic drinks and tobacco prices by 6.7%, while prices on clothes and shoes dropped by 4.6%.
As for inflation, the prices of foodstuffs and soft drinks went up by 2.9%, alcoholic drinks and tobacco by 16.1%, healthcare expenditures by 3.4% and transport fees by 2%.
