Mandatory wearing of masks outdoors has been canceled in Georgia, Report’s Georgian bureau informs.
Wearing masks remains mandatory in public transport and enclosed spaces.
According to the decision of the Georgian government, a number of other restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being lifted March 28. The restriction on the number of visitors to catering facilities, sports, cultural and other public events is no longer in force. The remote work for company employees has also been canceled.
Along with this, citizens of the country who returned to Georgia without a PCR test are exempted from the need for a five-day self-isolation.
Since mid-February, the epidemiological situation in Georgia has begun to improve rapidly.
