Georgia investigating reports of alleged plot to murder journalists

The Georgian Interior Ministry has launched a probe into the reports of an alleged plot against journalists, Report's local bureau informs, citing the ministry.
The investigation is being held under the article of the Criminal Code on preparation for the premeditated murder of two or more persons in aggravating circumstances.
Levan Mamaladze, a former governor of the Kvemo Kartli region, told Imedi TV today that former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and former Justice Minister Zurab Adeishvili were planning to kill journalists. He said he obtained the information from a source in Ukraine.
