Georgia eyes administering third shot of COVID vaccines

Georgia might provide the third (booster) dose of the coronavirus vaccination to the population, Georgian Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia said, Report informs.
She said the booster shot would be given primarily to people with weakened immune systems.
The deputy minister also said that the vaccination rate in Georgia has decreased in recent days.
The highest percentage of vaccinated is recorded in Tbilisi. More than 60 percent of the city's adult population has already been immunized.
