Georgia has extended the restrictions on international extended until June 30, according to the country’s Civil Aviation Agency.

Air companies that operate in Georgia have already been informed about the extension.

The limitations do not apply to cargo flights.

The removal of the flight ban will be made according to the pandemic situation in Georgia as well as across the world itself.

Earlier, the country suspended the flights until May 22.

Georgia confirmed six new cases of a novel coronavirus, pushing the tally to 677 as of May 16. As many as 419 people have recovered from the disease, while 12 others died in the country.

Georgia declared a state of emergency until May 22 to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
