Georgia establishes Ministry of Education

"Some changes have been made in the Georgian government structure," Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said at a government meeting.
According to him, the country will set up the Ministry of Education as an independent state body and unite culture, sport, and youth in one ministry.
The prime minister noted that the technical issues on the separation of ministries have already been finalized.
Until now, Georgia has had one ministry for education, science, culture, and sports.
