Georgia enters 'red' zone as epidemiological situation worsens

All indicators of the epidemiological situation have worsened in Georgia, and the country has transferred from the 'orange' to the 'red' zone, said Amiran Gamkrelidze, chief infectious diseases specialist, head of the Georgian National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health.
Report quotes him as saying that the current situation breeds concerns:
"Recommendations related to the introduction of restrictions have been submitted to the Coordination Council. If the epidemiological situation keeps worsening, there will be a need for stringent restrictions."
