Georgia confirms over 3,800 new COVID-19 cases, 20 deaths

Over the past day, Georgia has confirmed 3,886 more coronavirus cases and 20 deaths, Report informs, citing the country's National Center for Disease Control and Public Health.

The number of coronavirus infections has risen to 553,697 people and the death toll has surged to 7,482.

Over the past day, the country documented 4,103 recoveries, taking their total number to 497,517 since the pandemic began.

To date, the number of active patients is 48,672.
