Georgia has completed the last - second part of the application for membership in the European Union (EU), Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili told a briefing, Report informs.
According to him, the document will be submitted to the European Commission by May 10.
The Minister said that the European Commission would prepare an appropriate assessment opinion on the questionnaire.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili signed an application for EU membership on March 3. The country received a quastionnaire related to the membership on April 11. The first part of the questionnaire was submitted to the EU Ambassador to Georgia on May 2.
