"After the resumption of regular flights from February 1, passengers arriving in Georgia will be required to submit the results of the PCR tests performed in the last 72 hours," said Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health.
According to him, this rule will not apply to people who have received their both doses of vaccine.
Moreover, the country is considering the need to introduce the requirement for people visiting Georgia to retake the PCR test in a few days.
Georgia will resume flights, primarily with the European Union, the Gulf states, and Israel.
