Former Georgian prime minister Gakharia allegedly attacked in Batumi

The leader of the Gakharia for Georgia party, Giorgi Gakharia, was attacked in Batumi, GPB said, Report informs.

The party’s press service confirmed this information to the Georgian Public Broadcaster’s First Channel, though they did not specify the episode’s details.

According to available information, Gakharia has been taken to a clinic. Additionally, party member Natia Mezvrishvili responded to the accident on social media.

“I will come for all of you, you have no idea what a huge mistake you made. There will be no mercy, I promise you. If all attackers are not arrested within 24 hours, I will come for you too. Ivanishvili, I will personally put you in the defendant’s chair,” wrote Mezvrishvili.
