Former Georgian Defense Minister jailed for five years

Tbilisi City Court has decided to judge the Former Defense Minister of Georgia, a leader of opposition movement Victorious Georgia, Irakli Okruashvili, to five years in prison.
Notably, the former minister was arrested in June last year. He was accused of organizing, leading, and participating in mass violation on June 20-21 events took place in Tbilisi.
