Former Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan has been banned from leaving the country, Tonoyan's lawyer Sergey Hovhannisyan said, Report informs via Aysor.

According to Hovhannisyan, David Tonoyan's meetings with relatives and telephone conversations have also been restricted.

The lawyer also said that according to the decision of the National Security Service, expired and low-quality explosives, which Tonoyan is accused of, will not be examined.

The former defense minister is accused of supplying the army with expired and low-quality explosives.
