Foreign national found dead on Belarus-Latvia border

The lifeless body of a foreign national was discovered by Belarusian border guards in a forest along the Belarusian-Latvian border on Tuesday, October 8. This marks the second such incident in the span of just 24 hours.
According to the Investigative Committee of Belarus, an investigative team was promptly dispatched to the scene to conduct a thorough inspection, including examining the migrant's belongings. Among the items found were documents identifying the deceased as a 24-year-old citizen of Sri Lanka.
As the investigation into the Sri Lankan man's death continues, authorities have ordered the necessary expert examinations to determine the cause and circumstances of the death.
