Food prices go up in Georgia

Tbilisi. 3 December. REPORT.AZ/ The inflation in Georgia made up 0.37% last month, Report’s Georgian bureau informs citing the National Statistics Office (GeoStat).
Annual inflation was 1.9%.
In November, prices of foods and soft drinks rose by 1.4%, alcoholic drinks and tobacco products – by 0.6%, vegetable prices – by 5.7%, milk, cheese and egg – by 3.3%, fish and meat – relevantly by 2.1% and 18.8%. Fruit prices declined by 8.3%.
As for annual inflation, the transport costs went up by 3.8%, health expenditures by 5.5%, alcoholic drinks and tobacco products by 4.6%, utility services by 3.6%.
