FM: Baku-Yerevan normalization will create foundation for lasting peace in South Caucasus

Georgia is very interested in establishing lasting peace in the South Caucasus, Georgia's Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili said during her visit to Yerevan, Report informs.

Bochorishvili noted that this would undoubtedly contribute to the region's development and full utilization of existing potential.

"We hope that the ongoing normalization process between Armenia and Azerbaijan will conclude with a result acceptable to both sides. This will create the foundation for ensuring lasting peace in the region. Georgia is always ready to contribute to the development of regional cooperation, which we believe will contribute to stability and benefit everyone," she noted.
