First direct flight since 2019 scheduled between Tbilisi and Moscow

Georgian Airlines has scheduled a Tbilisi-Moscow-Tbilisi flight for January 28, Repor informs, citing the company.
Georgian Prime Minister's Special Envoy for Relations with Russia Zurab Abashidze told local media that flights between the two countries had not been officially resumed. He said he did not know the reason why the Tbilisi-Moscow-Tbilisi flight was scheduled.
Direct flights between Russia and Georgia have been suspended since July 2019.
