EU imposes sanctions on Wagner Group, RIA FAN

The European Union has expanded its blacklist against Russia, adding to it two legal entities - PMC Wagner and the Russian media resource Federal News Agency (RIA FAN), says the Official Journal of the EU, Report informs, citing TASS.

The EU believes that two legal entities should be added to the list of individuals, entities, organizations, and bodies subject to restrictive measures.

The European Union has imposed 10 packages of economic and individual sanctions against Moscow since the start of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine. They apply to 1,500 individuals and 207 legal entities.
