Erdogan: Time to unite in the name of strong Türkiye

The time has come for unity in the name of further building a safe, strong and developed Türkiye. This can be achieved if the concept of "Centenary of Türkiye" is realized, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, speaking on Wednesday at the opening of the new branch of the capital's AKM-Gar-Kizılay metro.

According to him, the enemies of Türkiye do not abandon plans to harm the country, trying to set its development back to 30, 50 years ago.

Erdogan noted that the opponents of Türkiye do not hesitate to collude with terrorists, including militants of the PKK organization.

The politician expressed confidence that the unity of the authorities and the people of Türkiye will allow to eliminate any obstacles.

The head of state drew further attention to the consequences of the large-scale disaster that hit a number of provinces in the south and southeast of Türkiye in early February.

"The authorities of Türkiye are fully determined to eliminate the consequences of the February earthquakes in the shortest possible time, to increase the seismic resistance of cities," Erdogan assured.
