There has been no trade in the history of the People’s Alliance, said Numan Kurtulmus, the first deputy chairman of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) of Türkiye, Report informs.
He said that the Turkish authorities always thought about national interests and did not think about appointing someone to some position.
The official of the ruling party clarified the issue of possible cooperation with the former presidential candidate Sinan Ogan in the second round of the presidential elections to be held on May 28:
“Sinan Ogan, the candidate of the Ata political bloc, secured a certain number of votes in the first round. I congratulate him for that. But the fact is that he is no longer in the race. The race is between the candidate of the People’s Alliance, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the candidate of the Nation Alliance, Kemal Kilicdaroglu.”
Kurtulmus said he does not think that Ogan's supporters will vote for Kilicdaroglu.
