Erdogan promises to make Turkish drones world No 1

"We will make our UAV fleet, which we have improved with AKINCI, the number one globally with the application of our unmanned combat aircraft system," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the opening ceremony of a new production line at the Şişecam Polatli plant.
Report informs that, according to him, the market share of Şişecam, which employs about 12,000 people, has been growing steadily for 86 years.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan added that Turkey's defense industry had reduced its dependence on foreign products by 80 percent.
