Erdogan meets members of Turkish, Azerbaijani, other Muslim communities in New York

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has met with members of the Turkish and other Muslim communities living in New York, the local bureau of Report informs.

The meeting organized by the Turkish-American National Steering Committee (TASC) under the slogan ‘A fairer world is possible’ took place at the Manhattan Center on Manhattan Island in New York. The meeting was also attended by activists of the Azerbaijani community living in New York.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke about the campaign of the American Muslim community to help those in need since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and expressed his satisfaction with the work of TASC for the unity of the Muslim community.

He also spoke about Turkey’s support for countries in need of vaccines: “Soon, we will provide the vaccine prepared by Turkey to the whole world. We will use the opportunities that we have for humanity.”
