Erdogan may soon visit Egypt

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says he may soon visit Egypt to discuss aid for the Gaza Strip, Report informs via TASS.

"I may have a trip to Egypt very soon. These issues will be our main agenda in Egypt: what steps can we take, and how can we prepare the way for the evacuation of patients? We will talk about this," Erdogan said on board the plane, returning from Algeria.

According to the Turkish leader, Türkiye wants to evacuate all patients as soon as possible. “In fact, my desire is to take out those who need surgical intervention as quickly as possible. Especially children, let’s take them as quickly as possible and provide them with medical care. On this issue, we are in solidarity with our friends and, I hope, we will conduct the process exactly in this way," Erdogan added.
