Erdogan: "Early presidential elections won’t be held in Turkey"

"There will be no early presidential elections in Turkey," President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at an enlarged meeting of the chairmen of the provincial organizations of the (ruling) Justice and Development Party (AKP).
"The next elections will be held in June 2023," he said.
The Turkish opposition is demanding early presidential elections. Recep Tayyip Erdogan has repeatedly stated that there will be no early elections in the country.
