Erdoğan could stand for presidency one last time in 2028

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan could run for the presidency one last time, Mehmet Uçum, head of the Legal Council of the Turkish Presidential Administration, said.
According to Report, citing Haber Global, Uçum said Türkiye's next presidential election would normally be held on May 7, 2028, but the date could be brought forward to April 16.
Uçum said Erdoğan would then be able to stand as a candidate for the final time.
