Erdogan: Azerbaijan's contributions to regional prosperity should be applauded

The liberation of the occupied territories of brotherly Azerbaijan has opened the doors to lasting peace and stability in the region, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the 15th ECO Summit in Ashgabat, Report informs.

“The steps taken by Azerbaijan to increase prosperity in the region should be applauded. These steps will support normalization efforts in the region. As Turkey, we will continue to be with our brothers. And as an organization, it is vital that we are in full solidarity with Azerbaijan,” Erdogan said.

The Turkish leader also shared his views on the importance of transport corridors in the region, including the Zangazur corridor.
