Entrepreneurs in Kyiv trying to break into Verkhovna Rada building

In Kyiv, participants in a rally of entrepreneurs are trying to force their way into the building of the Verkhovna Rada in order to talk with parliamentarians, but they are prevented from doing so by the law-enforcement officers, Report informs, citing the Ukrainian media.

The protesters are held back by a police cordon and a stampede has begun. The protesters said that if parliamentarians do not come out to them, they would try to storm the parliament. It is currently unknown if there are any injured or detained.

Earlier, several hundred representatives of small and medium-sized businesses staged a protest near the building of the Verkhovna Rada, demanding the adoption of laws that would simplify their work. Among the demands is to abolish the mandatory use of cash registers.
