Emir of Qatar due in Turkiye

Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left Doha for Turkiye, Report informs citing the official Qatari news agency.
The Sheikh is expected to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The Emir of Qatar will become the first leader to visit Turkiye after the devastating earthquakes with epicenters in the Turkish province of Kahramanmaras.
On February 6, two earthquakes with a magnitude of more than seven shook the southeast of Turkiye.
The death toll from the devastating earthquake has exceeded 24,600 people in Turkiye.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared seven days of national mourning for the natural disaster victims.
