Embassy: Iran expresses concern to Armenia

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has commented on Armenia's intention to open an embassy in Israel.
The spokesperson for the ministry expressed the country's concern over the issue at a press conference, the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan told Report.
"Iran has conveyed its concern to Armenia, which is willing to open a diplomatic mission in Israel. We hope that the Armenian government will reconsider this decision," he said.
Earlier, Armenia announced it intends to open an embassy in Tel Aviv.
Armenia and Israel established diplomatic relations in 1992 but have had no embassies in each other's capitals until now. Armenian ambassadors to Israel have been based in Paris, Cairo, and even Yerevan.
