CSTO Secretary General arrives in Yerevan

CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov arrived in Yerevan, Report informs via Sputnik-Armenia.

Tasmagambetov is expected to meet Armenia's top officials.

Imangali Tasmagambetov took office on January 1, 2023. The visit to Armenia was planned much earlier, but it coincided with a period of tension in Yerevan-CSTO relations.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan earlier said the Armenian authorities were alarmed that the CSTO was leaving the country.
