COVID-19: Ukraine reports record number of deaths

Thirty-one more people fell victim to the virus over the past day in Ukraine, which is the record number of daily deaths in the country, Report says, citing the Health Ministry of the country.
So far, 943 people have died with COVID-19 in Eastern Europe.
Yesterday, 758 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 414 of those recovered.
Thus, Ukraine has confirmed 33,234 cases of infection so far, while 14,942 recovered.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to 213 countries and territories since then.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
