COVID-19: Death toll hits 74 in Armenia

Armenia has recorded 322 new COVID-19 cases over the past day. Thus, the total tally reached 5,928 in the country, while four more people died, Report says, citing RIA Novosti.

According to the country’s health ministry, so far, 5,928 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Armenia, 2,874 patients recovered, while 74 people died.”

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic was confirmed to have reached Armenia on March 1, 2020, when its first case was confirmed. The disease has spread to all of the regions of Armenia and has caused 49 deaths.

Armenia has suspended visa-free travel for Chinese citizens since February 1, shortly after it implemented a 90-day visa-free regime on January 19.
