Another 134 people have contracted coronavirus in Armenia, two died, Report says, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the country.
Thus, Armenia’s COVID-19 tally has risen to 2,066.
In total, 32 people lost lives from the pandemic, while 923 people have recovered so far.
Notably, as of April 29, the country recorded 65 positive COVID-19 cases per day.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to 210 countries and territories since then.
To date, COVID-19 cases surpassed 3 221 000 globally, resulting in more than 1 005 217 recoveries and over 228 263 deaths.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
